Linda Sandoval, Moved to Beach Park in 2001 from Chicago, and now lives in Zion since 2014, with her kids, cats and dogs, loved it so much that decided to plant her roots here. A graduate of Zion Benton Leadership Academy, Loves this city; loves the whole Zion-Benton community. favorite saying is “It takes a village to raise a child” and want to try to do her part. “We are not rich, but we have what it takes to work together for a better place to live in; we have love, unity, and the determination to succeed and move forward”.
A visionary–her passion is to look for resources for our community and serve as a bridge to connect our community to those resources, wants to be encouraging to everyone by being part of the solution for a better place to live in, by volunteering within our community and try to attend at least one meeting a month, either the township meetings or school or library board meetings and vote for who YOU want to represent us. We are the key for a better Zion-Benton. Her heart is with all people, everyone has an specific need and goes through different stages in their life and shouldn’t have to feel alone. She loves when people talk to her, and in meetings, share their ideas and comments, for that opens a door for something new, a new solution or an opportunity to make something better.
Currently part of BPAC-Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee with the Zion Elementary School District, (Chair) Community Partners Task Force, and Zion-Benton Ambassadors.
Hobbies: Camping, spending time with family, learning new things that will help her family and others, and planning events.
